Fendo — Privacy Policy

Fendo ("we", "us") is a personal loan-tracking app operated by RMFAR INC. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how it is shared.

What We Collect

• Account information: name, phone number, password, and optional email when you register or sign in.
• Phone contacts (optional): if you grant Contacts permission, we read contact names and phone numbers so you can choose people to track loans with. You can skip this and still use the app. Imported contacts you keep in Fendo are stored on our servers with your account.
• Loan and transaction data: amounts, descriptions, and history you create.
• Profile photo (optional): if you choose one from your camera or photo library.
• Device PIN: stored only on your device for app lock; it is not sent to our servers.

How We Use Data

We use this data only to operate Fendo: authenticate your account, verify your phone number, sync your contacts and loans across devices, and provide customer support. We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

Data Sharing

• Firebase Authentication (Google): we use Firebase to send SMS one-time codes and verify phone numbers. Phone numbers used for verification are processed by Google under their privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• Our servers: account, loan, and imported-contact data you use in Fendo are stored on our hosting infrastructure to provide the service.
• We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the security of the service.

Permissions

• Contacts: optional. Used only to import names and numbers for loan tracking. You can deny or skip access and add people manually.
• Camera / Photo Library: optional. Used only if you set a profile photo.

Data Retention and Deletion

We keep your account data while your account is active. To delete your account and associated server data, contact us at the email below. Local PIN data is removed when you uninstall the app or clear the PIN in Settings.

Children

Fendo is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
